I agree it can be frustrating. I want to remind PB players only one PB court can be reserved which means one of the two courts is essentially a walk on court. But this is only true if the East court reservation is for pickleball play. If the reservation is a tennis reservation – than the person with the reservation is entitled to the whole court.
I am having the same issue. I I’ll see what happens after my next reservation.
Thank you. I don’t always get this information- want to be sure that I am on the email list.
Hi Kevin,
Yes, you can cancel your court time online. Simply go to “My Court Reservations”, then select the reservation you want to cancel. The cancel option is located farthest to the right.
We strongly encourage residents to always cancel court reservations if they decide they aren’t going to play.
Dear Christine,
There has to be balance. As a resident who prefers swimming in the mornings and so regulated to 6:30-8 , there are times I want to swim at 11 and with access during unguarded hours from 11-11:45 I want to use that time. But I am regularly hindered by private swim lessons using the swim lane intended for adult lap swimming. I understand if no one is using it, the lane can be made available, but if I show up at 11, it is reasonable and quite honestly expected, I get to use the swim lap lane. So please make this change. Also, please instruct coaches that all swim team exit the pool after swim practice and re-enter only if a parent is present. This is required as part of the exemption we sign, but it was not enforced . It is potentially dangerous.
I sent a request to post the current policies and to highlight the changes and explain why the change was made. I don’t see my response posted.
These documents are insufficient for review and comment. Please attach current document(s) and highlight “significant “ changes. I’d also think it’s important to explain why changes were made as these appear to be even more restrictive and could reflect personal grievances rather than inclusive community options within aesthetic concerns.
Yes, it seems the pool during school days goes to waste . I’d love to be able to swim during those days. Also, lap swim in the morning is limited to one hour – before swim team practice. Last year was exceptional, but , and despite private coaching a half hour before lap swim hour , I was told I could not swim until 10 am – so it seems if the pool is available for coaching lessons, it is available for residents wanting to swim laps at the same times with or without a guard.
